This morning we had a chance to check out the Belleview Syrene hotel where we spent the night. A part of the hotel is an ancient Roman villa. It was like going back in time to see how the ancient’s lived. We also wandered around Sorrento and then made our way along the Amalfi coast to Positano. We had to get to our hotel on foot because the main road only goes through the middle of town, the rest of the way is walking, either up or down, nothing is level! The view from our hotel is amazing. The panorama shows both the Golf of Naples and the Golf of Salerno separated by the peninsula.
